Cleanse your crystals, including your unique handmade jewellery pieces, by using sound techniques such as a singing bowl, or by passing the crystals through the smoke from an incense stick or smudge stick. Most crystals (but not all) are suitable for cleansing in water if desired. Crystals with deep colouring, such as Amethyst, should not be placed in direct sunlight for more than a few hours at a time as the colour may fade. Be careful not to place clear crystals like Quartz in areas of strong direct sunlight, as the intense light could potentially cause a fire hazard. All crystals, especially small tumblestones that could be mistaken for sweets or candy, should be kept out of the reach of children to avoid any choking hazard. To further energise your crystals and personalised jewellery, we recommend using a Selenite plate or placing your items on a windowsill to bask in the light of a full moon.

Before bathing, showering, swimming, or going to bed, be sure to take off your handmade jewellery, including any unique crystal pieces. It’s important to remove your personalised jewellery prior to engaging in any activity that could lead to scratches or damage. Apply lotions and perfumes before adorning yourself with your jewellery. To keep your unique gemstones in pristine condition, clean them gently with a soft, dry cloth.
